SEND specialism taught sessions
Today our SEND trainees had their first SEND specialism taught session. Mrs Swift, one of the English leads, delivered a session giving lots of ideas and tips on teaching English to children with additional needs.

Today Mrs Hastings and Mrs Temple, who are Specialist Leaders in Education, taught our trainees about 'Teaching Primary Maths' and maths mastery
St John Vianney English Hub
This year we are using local expertise to deliver our English, Reading and Phonics curriculum. Miss Hornby is passionate, knowledgeable and highly motivating, we feel very lucky to have her delivering on our course.
Better Starts first visit to BSVT
For the first time on our course we have had an excellent session delivered by better start on adverse childhood experiences (ACE's) and how they impact upon a developing brain.
